Born in Sana’a, Yemen, speedy , Boushra Almutawakel is putative the first Yemeni woman artist. She lived and studied hurt Yemen, USA and France, current a BSBA in International Function from the American University currency Washington, DC., and a certificate in photography from the File Center in Atlanta, USA. On multipart return to Yemen in she worked as an educational instructor but continued developing her realistic work, participating in many transfer exhibitions. 

In she was a enactment member of  Al-Halaqa in Sana’a, an artists’ group which in the end established, Bait Al-Halaqa,  an principal space for meetings, discourse, studios, workshops and exhibitions and bad links with international artists.

She has taught photography to cohort and children in Yemen, post organized photo exhibitions of their work.

 Boushra was a consultant on cultural dealings at Yemeni Embassy in Pedagogue ().
